Favorite Fall Books
Tweet, tweet, tweet from Jill and Erin.
It’s fall! The bonfire smell is in the air, the days are getting shorter, and Halloween is on its way! It’s that time of year again. The kiddos get excited to get dressed up and go trick or treating. While we get excited about our favorite books! One of our all time favorites is, The Little Old Lady Who Wasn’t Afraid of Anything by Linda Williams. This is a fun interactive book for little ones. They love clapping, stomping, and wiggling along with the book. Another crowd pleaser is, Room on the Broom by Julia Donaldson. The rhyming and repetitiveness captivates and keeps the attention of young minds. Especially when the dragon shows up and captures the witch. But don’t worry, we won’t give away the ending. If you haven’t shared these books with your kids or in your classrooms, we assure...they won’t disappoint!
Here’s just a few more honorable mentions that are classroom hits.
Skeleton Hiccups by Margery Cuyler
We’re Going on a Leaf Hunt by Steve Metzer
The Leaves are Falling One by One by Steve Metzer

I have a Masters in Education and years of experience reading to children in the classroom. I have always been a passionate reader. I love to find great literature for the classroom. After reading many, many, books to my students, I was inspired to write my own stories that would captivate the minds of young children and encourage early literacy. I am married with two beautiful daughters, to whom I love to read.
I have always had a love for children and a drive to see them thrive and succeed. This is what inspires me to create books that encourage early literacy and books that children love to read! I am currently the Assistant Director of a preschool in St. Louis. I am the proud mother to four beautiful boys. My husband Jeff and I love to read together as a family.
We are excited to read our favorite fall books!
