ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Shelley Michael is a seasoned educator in the field of early childhood. She brings her love of children and her insight into the mind of a child to her writing. A constructivist by heart, she believes in learning through play and that means the more a child gets their hands dirty, they more they are learning through experience. Louise and her Pink Polka Dot Suitcase is Shelley's first book series and was inspired by her love of transportation and traveling with her daughter and husband. When they are not traveling, Shelley's family can be found spending time in their beloved hometown of Webster Groves, Missouri.
