You do not need a gym membership to burn calories!

  •  Dance party! Throw on your favorite tunes and get crazy and hilarious. This is also a super stress reliever for any “tense” moments you have in your home.
  • Walk around your neighborhood and say “hello!” to your neighbors.
  •  Have your amount of screen time equal the amount of physical activity.
  • On a rainy day, check out your cable stations to see what free family workouts are available.
  • Go to your local forest preserves and botanical gardens on the weekends for awesome nature hikes and conversations.
  • Find a charity walk or run and train for it as a family. Choose the charity together. Taking walks before dinnertime and on weekends along with talking about the charity can create a positive experience in many ways.
